I am looking for some information to complete the installation of tha remote start system on a 2002 F-250 Super-Duty diesel. I need the Tach wire. I understand that I am looking for a WHITE/ pink wire but can not find the wire anywhere. I have looked in the main wiring harness under the dash and found a WHITE/ pink but the system did not pickup the Tach signal. Nor did I read the correct AC voltage on the wire. I also need the color code and location of the of the Glow Plug light or wait to start light on the dash.

I am installing an Omega RX-4 system and need these signals to start the truck in the cold weather that requires longer starter times.

2002 Superduty

I did a remote start on a 2002 super duty and I found the tach wire behind the fuse box, the wire will be either pink/white or GREEN / WHITE. There will be a bunch of wires taped together with the ends shrink wrapped.

Thanks for the information. Once this weather clears up I will try to finish the installation and report the results.
