Hello all!

I have a Bulldog RS-114 remote starter on my wife's 96 Plymouth Voyager. Works great, but roughly every 3-4 days it just stops responding to the remote untill I erase all memory from the brain and re-learn the remote. Checked all connections - all proper and secure. Tech guy told me to send the unit for service, but he said they're pretty reliable and he was surprized that unit might be defective.

Any ideas? Thanks a lot for looking!

sounds like a Bullfrog..... their failure rate is hovering around 50%......

Yeah I agree, Bulldog is one on those brands where out of 10 units 4 or more fail!!!! I would suggest maybe getting a replacement but reliabilty is very minimal with Bulldogs.

this is what you get for your money.

you pay cheap...you get cheap.

I saw those units for 40 to 50 dollars in stores.

I tell everyone not to touch those...but they never listen.
