Hello to all.

I had a few questions about an installation that I’m about to do.
I just bought a crimestopper 4 window control module (cs-5601) and I’ll be installing it in a 2002 dodge intrepid.
I find their manuals a little bit weird worded and lacking information.
I plan to use the negative activation input (it has 2 of them, it also has to positive activation inputs) with the orange negative starter disable wire
from my alarm.

Should I diode isolate this wire so that one goes to the starter disable relay and the other to the window
module (so that both are activated at the same time)? Or should I connect the orange wire to the window roll up module and then connect
the green accessory wire from the window module that supplies (-) 300 milliamps to the relay (alarm activates window module, and
then window module activates starter disable)?

I haven’t tested my window system. It’s supposed to be reverse polarity rest at ground. Has anyone found it to be different in this car? Also,
is there any other place where i can find the window wires other than inside the driver door?

And my last question is how would you hook up the driver window that has auto roll down (one touch and the window goes all the way down)?
I’d like to keep this feature. Does it have a relay already that I need to interface with it? If so, how? Thank You. Alan

most window units have anout - output that is for the start disable. your output may not bee strong enough to handle both items....you can try it. if you do go that route, use a diode on each

You can usually grab all windows except for the driver door in the kick panel. You will need to run the driver wiring into the door because you need to make your connections between the switch and the motor. When I did mine I had room under the driver arm rest for both of my 4 window modules. I only needed to run Constant power and the negative out when armed wire into the door so all my connections are in the one door. If you do put modules in the door, wrap a small clear poly bag around the unit and seal it around the wiring harness to prevent moisture damage to the module.

You need to wire your module between the motor and the relay...NOT between the switch and the relay. The window modules won't work quite right if you do the later. On mine the relay was integrated into the switch itself so I was able to just wire between the switch/relay and the motor.
