I've been reading the post concerning this problem and I cant find where to solve it. I have an Omega Max Remote Start/Security System and everything is connected right execpt the parking lights. I know I have to use a 330 ohm resister to activate the parking lights but once I press unlock on the remote a min later they come back on. I think you have to use a relay to keep this from happening. Can anyone explain to me how to get this accomplished? and where to get the parts to do so.

Thankyou:)

I always go to the BLACK / YELLOW wire at the headlight, easy to get to, its a (+), no problems

according to my notes 2004, it is white green, using a relay and a resistor.

so this should be the same

The parking light is purple / YELLOW  it needs to be "brken" with the a relay and resistor.

87a gets the switch side of the wire

30 gets the car side of the wire

86 and 87 ground with the resistor in line

85 gets trigger from the alarm or RS

works perfect every time!!

Lock Requires A Ground (-) Pulse Through A 867 Ohm Resistor. Unlock Requires A Ground (-) Pulse Through A 364 Ohm Resistor.  Single wire door lock system...

Factory arm and disarm wires will also lock and unlock the doors as well as arm and disarm at the same time, if equipped....requires different resistance values...

I use a WHITE/ Grey wire above the Driver kick panel. it is positive no relays required.

Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.
