99 dodge ram

I am finding litle agreement on the actual wire to turn on the heater.  Could someone who has worked on this truck give a suggestion?

Also, There doesn;t seeme to be an easy tap for the courtesy lights.  The yellow(-) listed on the site does not work.  Any suggestions.

DODGE, RAM PICKUP, 1999, Door Trigger

To avoid dome delay, use tan for the drivers door and BLACK/ lt. blue for the passenger door. Both wires are located at the central timer module to the right side of the steering column. Use both wires and diode isolate each.

there are 2 accesory wires..BLK/ORNGE   AND BLK/WHT make sure ya light'em both up.......
