2000 Grand Cherokee Lock Help

I installed an Audiovox APS 685 remote start and a JDL-PK bypass with much help for this site. (thanks!) The remote starting is working and the doors will unlock but they won't lock. When I push the "lock" on the remote the horn beeps 3 times, no parking light flash and no door locking.    I have the red wire for the APS going to the green wire on the JDL. The APS red wire is a negative pulse for lock. For the unlock, which works, I have the APS green going to the JDL blue. I would think that if the neg pulse from the APS for the unlock works that the neg pulse for the lock should work too. Why would the horn sound 3 times? That sounds like an error code maybe?

Any ideas?

I have wired:

APS (red) to JDL (green) - lock (doesn't work)
APS (green) to JDL (blue) - unlock (works)
APS (light blue) to JDL (brown)
APS (white 1 of 2) to ground
APS (white 2 of 2) to terminal 30 on the parkinglight relay
JDL violet to pin #2 of OBDII
JDL orange to horn
I'm pretty sure I have the basic 12v and gounds correct.
I didn't hook up violet/white, pink, pink/white on the JDL.
I don't have the RED / black on the APS hooked up.
JDL GREEN/ orange to injector

Something else I remembered. When hooking the battery back up the horn chirped 3 times just like it does when trying to lock the doors.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
