I was just wondering if I can use the DEI shock sensor to make my interior neons to blink? I'm using a pair of 6" streetglow neons as my dome light. Is the wires too small for this app or can it be done.

here's what im planing to do..

black-ground, red-12v, green-neons, blue-not used.

would I need a relay for this?

Thanks!

You would very likely need to step up the output with a relay because most sensors won't provide enough current to power the neon transformer. do this: green to pin 85, 12v to pin 86, ground to pin 30, and your neons on pin 87. Hope this helps.

all in all you would have to give a power source to neon pos and your going to use neggative from sensor to light it up correct i have done it , cause when a sensor is activated it sends out a negative signal as lons as you have a good ground you should be ok if not adda relay like mike says..
