I recently finished a successfull car alarm installation. My car is a 98' Accord and the alarm is a Avital Hurricane2. I didn't have any problems but finding the wires. Everything works great except when I turn my windshield wipers on (while driving), my doors will unlock? The car alarm will lock the doors automactically when I crank the car up and unlock when I kill the car. Well, when I turn the wind shield wipers off, the doors go back to the lock position? Sounds like I have something hooked up wrong or is this a standard feature?

Disconnect the locks from the alarm and see if the problem still exists. Let us know.

I don't know about it being common, actually I have never seen it. It is possible though.
