Im installed a DEI 561t RS into my 2001 maxima. The car starts fine with the RS when I leave a key in the ignition. So that is out of the way. I purchased the DEI 556U bypass. Im trying to install the ring but its too big. Its way bigger than the ignition cylinder and I cant hold it down. So I tried the alternate installation methods for the bypass, but they didnt work.

How do you install that stupid ring and where exactly do I put it.

Put it around the key cyl. Bunch up the ring (opposite of where the wires head down to the box) and snug it up with a small zip tie. Use a peice of tape to hold the bunched up part of the ring down
