I am currently installing a remote start and keyless entry commando ez2600 on my wifes 2003 Kia Spectra , everything is working except the start function , I am getting door lock and unlock , trunk pulse , and 5 pulses for the start funtion but the vehicle is not starting , when i get the pulses (relay clicks) the dash lights dont come on either is this a programming problem or instalation problem? I have gone over the wiring and everything is hooked up correctly , the only wires I didnt use were the pulse to start wires , I was lead to believe that they were only used for theft deterent systems.

did you hook up the BLACK/ white wire to ground? did you get the tach signal for that vehicle?

I am not aware of a 2600, but I am aware of a 2500. if it is a 2500, then you need to enter programming before the unit will even attempt to remote start. Look in the programming tables where it describes the type of starting: tach monitoring, voltage monitoring or timer.

I just installed a 2600.  I found out after three phone calls that two things must be in place.  #1  hood trigger must NOT be grounded (it doesn't need to be hooked up if you choose.  And # 2 which was my problem.  The hand brake wire MUST be grounded.

Finally starting....
