I've been trying to fix a remote start system for some time in my friend's 2003 Dodge Durango. The current issue is the door triggers. I've tried wiring them a bunch of different ways but haven't found any that work. Currently, I have them setup according to the graphic in this post. It works for blocking the lines going negative from the brain in the car (a "feature" on Durangos if you're unfamiliar) however, the door triggers don't cause the alarm to go off when they're supposed to. Is this due to bad current in the lines (ie: should I add a relay?) or are there other possibilites?
Thanks!
Chris

Diode isolate the door triggers and use a relay to avoid falsing problems.
