On a 2003 Explorer If I wanted to hook up a remote starter, it has a keyless entry already, I would only need a transponder bypass to be able to start the car right?.... one other thing not all Fords come w/the PATS system right, If not can't you look @ the key and know if they have one or not or would I have to check w/ the dealer thanks

in 2003 I doubt you'll find one that DOESN'T need a bypass. If you have a steel key with NO PLATIC HANDLE, and you can start the rig..........no bypass needed. Heres a link for some tech...
