Hi, I have a Viper 350HV alarm system that I installed into my Chevy S-10 pickup this summer. I am thinking of adding remote start.

My question: If I add a viper remote start, would I be able to program one of the remotes to work with both system ( alarm, and remote start). I really dont want to have 2 key flobs on my keychain.

I know Viper makes an alarm, remote start combo, but because I already have the 350hv installed, I was wondering how I can add remote start now and keep just one remote transmitter to work both?

Move up to the 560XV. Same wiring, antenna, etc. You get 4 button remotes, and all you would have to dois wire up the starter portion, plug everything into the new brain, and do some programming (just fixing to do this with a 690XV right away.... movingup to the 791)

yes sir, you can get a RS add-on to your 350HV. when adding an addon, youre using ur existing 350hv remote to control it.

Thanks for the info, but could anybody provide me with a wiring diagram on how I would wire together an alarm and remote start system?

follow the diagram on the remote starter you plan on using, all your 350hv is doing is sending a signal to the rs.
