Just install a remote starter on my 2000 nissan quest , I can remote start the car when the door is unlock, and when I remote start the car when the alarm is ARMED (door locked), it will trigger the alarm.

I need help on where is the factory disarm wire (and wire color) located? so I can connect FASD wire from the remote starter to it and disarm the alarm. I try locate in driver side kick panel and has no luck.

any reply and help are great appreciated.

A single pulse on the unlock wire will disarm the factory alarm without unlocking.

its the same wire as the unlock wire. you need to diode isolate the disarm wire from the unlock wire.

|     POWER UNLOCK|RED / black    |- |either door harness        |
Driver's Kick Panel 16 Pin Connector

heres another reference: bulldogsecurity

GREEN/ ORANGE (-) DKPanel

Thanks profuse007

I got info from bulldosecurity b4 I came to this forum, that's how I found out their info and my car is different, I even read thru the book by Haynes (for Mercury & Nissan) and their wiring code is not the same as mine neither.

here is my wiring coloring from my car: ( I actually did the test on all these wires)

Power unlock: GREEN/ brown

power lock: green white

key unlock: WHITE/ red

key lock: GREEN/ red

You see, all these wiring code is totally different. Can you specify by "diode isolate" means?

where else I can locate the FASD wire? I mean bay tracking from setring wheel to DKPanel

Thanks.

does ur lock unlock work?

if it does and youre not using the RED / black for unlock. theres no need for using diodes. just plug it straight on, disarm wire from alram to the redblack.
