Can someone tell me on how to properly adjust this sensor. My alarm is going off when cats walk under my truck and it gets anoying. I know someone is going to say "turn down the adjustment screw" but that is not what I am looking for. This is my first time using this sensor and I am looking for the proper way to set the sensitivity.

Thanks

it is a 508d correct? there are two adjustments on it the pre warn and full alarm. did you try mounting the module somewhere else?

Well, I tried to keep it as centered as possible. I keep adjusting the screws. Is there a better way to check the settings rather than make an adjustment., set the alarm and check. Or does this seem to be the only option in checking the senitivity on these units.

you can also use the red and green lights on the 508d to see if the alarm is triggered or noti cannot remember, but i think the green light is for first stage and the red light is for second stage. dont quote me on that though.
