Hello

I have a Code Alarm system in my 1995 Aurora and has been working perfectly since I got the car. Several weeks ago the battery ran down in the car due to an overhead light being left on. The next morning I go out, I notice the battery is dead. When I put the charger on the battery, the alarm begins sounding weakly. It would not respond to the key fob so in order to stop the noise, I cut the wire to the siren under the hood. Since then, I've reattached the siren wire, but I can't arm the alarm anymore. No siren chirp, nothing. The remote still locks and unlocks the doors however.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Rex McCall

It's probably in VALET mode if the keyless entry still works but does not sound like it used to.

Nope, I've tried it both ways. Also used the reset button. No joy.
