i would also like any key points regarding this install.

NOTE: This vehicle has the passlock II immobilizer system that *1 The engine harness is found next to the battery, below the radiator hose, just above the transaxle. *2 Non keyless cars, locks are 5wi (type C) and they are mastered from the passenger side switch. Keyless cars, locks are positive trigger (type A). Also found at BCM. *3 The GREEN/ black is located in the lower drivers kick panel. It catches the drivers door only. The light blue is located in the lower passenger kick panel, and catches the passenger door(s). Tap both wires and diode isolate each. Also found at BCM. *4 The BCM is located to the left of the steering column above the kick panel.

there r 2 wires that r light blue at the bcm. which 1 do i tap into?
is the ignition harness the heavier gauge wires to the left of the sterring coloum?
are all the pink wires in any of the wiring harnness found in the engine compartment the 12 volt ignition?
i need help!
thanx
Use a DMM to distinguish between the two wires. Most ignition wires aer heavier gauage, but again use a DMM to verify all connections before attempting to solder them.

i'm having trouble with my parking lights!
i found the brown wire that shows 12 volts when the parking lights are turned on but the lights won't flash when i arm the system. what brown wire is the correct 1?
my alarm doesn't trigger when i open my drivers door!
i tap in the green wire with black stripe at the bcm and diode isolated it. why won't it work?
same with the passenger doors!
what should i do?
Check the parking light connection with a DMM and see if the wire has any current when you arm and disarm the system. Some systems have a (-) and a (+) so make sure that you have the right wire. If the alarm wire is in fact outputing a current then make sure that the connection is soldered. If there is no current on the wire then you have a defective unit.

You need to isolate the drivers door from the passenger doors using a couple diodes. The wires can be found at the BCM (Body Control Module) located in the side pannel below the dash on the drivers side. The driver door is LTGRN/BLK and the other doors are LTBLU. The side of the diode with the line gets connected to each of these wires and the other side of the diodes get connected together and go to the alarm (-) door trigger.
I also think there may be a second ignition wire that you need to hook up, its a heavy white wire (or brn?) coming from the ignition and if you dont hook it up, the check engine light will be on when you do a remote start.
