Ive spent the day installing an Audiovox APS-786 in a 2000 Toyota Echo.  Ive got most of it installed (minus the door, hood and brake pedal trigger) and the alarm works.  but the remote start won't crank or even power up the dash.  I tried programming the RPM's and it went thru fine.  Im thinking maybe it has something to do with the accessory isolation relay.  Is suppossed to be a separte relay or an existing one in the car.  I followed the diagram listed for the 2001 Echo and they seem to be right as far as polarity, color code, and location.  what am i doing wrong?

thanx in advance

Chris

did you plug in the switch with the red plug on it? did you hook up a starter kill? make sure you put the thick yellow wire on the starter side.

Is it saying anything along the lines that you have a hood open or anything?
