Can the new Astrostart OM-PASSLOCK-5 (part no.310-907-551) interface to the Astrostart 2505 (BDA main unit) through a 310-909-000-00 harness (P16) as follows?:

-green (ground when running input) -------go to --------P16-green: output (-) when running
-pink ( ignition input (connect to P4-4))---go to---------P16-orange: output anti-theft (-) or as Note #1
-red (12 volt input (connect to P4-7))-----go to---------P16-red: +12VDC
-black (ground input)----------------------go to---------P16-black: ground

Note #1 Or must I use Programmable output 1 or 2 on wire P16 BROWN / white or WHITE/ blue, programmed as "ignition"

Hi KarTuneMan

The vehicle is a 93 Pontaic Bonnie with a vats or pass-key II anti-theft system. Today,I found out from my Astroflex dealer in Edmonton, ALberta, Canada that the OM-PASSLOCK-5 is manufactured by a contractor and not Astroflex, therefore the 310-909-000-00 harness (P16)is not included in the OM-PASSLOCK-5 (part #310-907-551). I just need to know if the P16-orange: output anti-theft (-) is the same as the Programmable output 1 or 2 on wire P16 BROWN / white or WHITE/ blue, programmed as "ignition".

TKS for you HELP
