I read the other post about running more than one led. I still dont think I understand correctly.

I have the regular flashing led that comes with the alarm unit, and I purchased a scanner type and I have 2 more SUPER BRIGHT orange leds. I tried to connect the scanner to the regular LED but nothing happened. It is like it grounded one of them out. What have I done?

It is the Crimestopper 2011 RS.

Thanks

you must use a ground when armed wire for the scanner dioed if you have starter kill relay on board .they will become less bright if more then two l.e.d's are used

It shouldnt get dim.  Each led is like 1ma.  In theory you can run a bunch off without a diode.  -TeK
