Hi folks,

any help you guys could provide you be helpful!

Looking for some assistance!

Details:
Mazda 6 Sunroof has two switches (open/close) and vent (open/close)
- from the information I have the switch is directed wired to the motor and the vent wire changes polarity based upon where the roof is.

Clifford Concept 600 - has a window close circuit
violet - motor +
WHITE/ violet - switch +
WHITE/ orange - switch 2+
orange - motor 2+

I believe aux C - Gray/Red is the output that also comes into play.

Now what is happening is this:
When sunroof is opened, upon arming the sunroof will close then vent - NOT GOOD! I don't need two way function.

We were able to do this with a Civic, but it was a one switch for open, close and vent - WE HAD TO PROVIDE CONSTANT POWER TO THE ROOF, so with the key out you could still operate the sunroof.

I've searched the forums, and have seen a few creative ideas, but nothing consistent. I had thought about a mag switch to determine if the window is closed then cut the trigger, but I don't have the experience necessary to pull it off.

Anyone has any ideas to wire up this circuit to make it work?

if you only want one set of direction of travel then why hook up both switches ? I need a little more info on the voltages of wires during operation. When you close the sunroof with the switch and hold it the whole time, does it close and then vent after it closes ?

Thanks for the input. I wasn't intending to hook up both switches.

My intent was to use one of the output (say left channel) and hook it up to the switch. The problem comes in when wanting to ensure the sunroof is closed. I would like it to close if VENTED or OPENED - hence the need to wire up to both switches. If one switch could close it in both instances I think I would be okay.

The way the switches work is one is for fully open and close and one is for vent and close. The two are not interchangeable.

When I get out of bed, I can check voltages. Any other thoughts?

the reason i think your having a problem is it is activating both close functions at the same time. the problem with that is both will be active untill it sees a over current (the sun roof being moved in one direction and cannot move anymore). I will ponder on this situation a little longer
