This may be a dumb question but here is the problem. I installed a r/S keyless and everything is fine except when I put the key in during remote start and turn it to the run position during the key passing ACC the starter grinds for a second. What causes this and how can it be fixed. It is a prestige APL55-LRA, and the vehicle is a 2000 nissan exterra.

Your fast response it greatly appreaciated.

Interrupt the accessory from the remote starter to the car. I basically set it up like a starter kill, using GWR on pin 86, keysense on 85. Customer puts the key in, the accessories drop out, turn to "run", they come back.
No "zing" fromstarter.

I eaiser terms What output would I use? Your saying hook it up as a starter kill but use the acc wire instead og the starter wire?
