what is a good place to mount the shock sensor in a 01 honda accord lx sedan?

It depends on if its a mechanical shock sensor (like DEI's stinger double guard) or an electronic sensor.

I prefer electronic, you mount them so a SOLID surfice.  The DEI style needs to be mounted to a large factory harness, or the steering column.  They are WAY TO HARD to adjust if mounted on a solid serfice. I have posted on this issue before and gotten LOTS of argument about my suggestion for the DEI style sensor......read the instruction.

CarTuneMan is correct, I set dei's for mid sens at zip tie to a large wire harness. Don't do the steering column. Even DEI says not to put it there. It makes the front of the car over sensitive and the rear almost non existent.
