I have a Solaris Clifford alarm installed in my nissan 300zx. The problem i'm having is when the car is siting, it will go into antiheft, i beleive. The alarm will make this loud tap noise about every 3 seconds. You are not able to start the car at this point. I discovered that if i wiggle the electrical harness it seems to reset. Now nothing seems to be working. Is the brains fried?? How can i bypass the alarm so that i can get my car started??

You can always un-plug the brain.

first off check to see if you have any blown fuses. second question i have is how did you connect your wires? it sounds like you may have not connected them the way they are supposed to be...soldered and taped...and connections are coming loose so when you wiggle it, the alarm works again

When the brain is unpluged and I try to start my car, you can turn the key but nothing happens at all. I have checked that electrical clip that connects to the brain and there is no loose wires at all. I guess what i really need to know is how to disable the alarm?

yes, the alarm has the starter kill feature.
