I have the viper 791xv and I was wondering if anyone has ever tried hooking up heated mirrors to an AUX channel? The mirror switch is a push button. Push it once then it sets a( timer/heat sense limit?)

I would pull the switch out and probe it. Look for exactly what it does. Checking for both continuity and polarity. I actually used the traditional truck pop wire on an rx300 with the 791xv. It's set up for validity. So I hold the aux button on the remote, it beeps and presto the rear defogger pops on and off. In my case I just took 1/2 the wire connected to 30, took the other 1/2 and connected to 87. Wired 85 to +12volts, and then connected the RED / white to 86 as the trigger for the relay. Works great.
