Did a Remote Starter in a 2005 Acura MDX. Customer comes back two weeks later that the airbag light came on. I know that Acuras trip the Airbag light easily and we have had to clear them in the past. This one was fine for a few weeks, why would it have suddenly been tripped? If anyone has any info I'd greatly appreciate it. Also I'm not sure how to reset this one.

Try having somebody sit in the passenger seat while you turn key off/on. Do this  10-20 times and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks. Sounds like an interesting idea. I'll try that. Just curious though....Whats the deep meaning behind that?

Yeah, the Acura RL is the same way. If you lean on the door panel the SRS light will come on. Reason is because they have side airbag and don't want any interference.

Well thanks guys. In the meantime the customer says the light went off anyway. He says his laptop was sitting in the passenger seat and perhaps the weight was intermittent.
