Hi I have the DEI 451m lock relay module I am trying to connect it to the clifford matrix rsx3.5 remote start/alarm in a 2000 GMC Sierra that has the factory keyless entry and requires a positive pulse. I already know which wires in the BCM I need but having trouble on figuring out which wires to use from the 451M . Thanks for your help.

Small gauage wires Red- Constant 12 volts blue- and green go to your cliffords door lock outputs Large Gauage Wires Purple - constant 12volt source Brown and White- Not Used Blue and Green will go to the BCM door lock wires. -------------

There is already a 3pin connector attached to the module which plugs into the clifford. This is the info printed on the back of the module. The 3 pin plug has 3 wires already attached they are GREEN (neg lock input), RED(pos input for relay coils), BLUE(neg unlock input). These are the five wires also attached to the module. VIOLET/BLACK wire(lock/unlock normally open #87)--this wire also has inline 15a fuse. GREEN/ BLACK wire (lock output #30) WHITE/ BLACK wire(lock normally closed #87A) BLUE/BLACK wire(unlock output #30) BROWN / BLACK wire(unlock normally closed #87A)

Alright, heres an easier way.....Dont use the 451m at all. Looking at the small gauge wires that include the blue, green, and red wire, simply cut that away from the 451m module side. Strip the wires so they are seperated from each other, then cut the red wire close to the 3 pin side. Then, simply use the blue and green wires remaining to go to the lock wires in the car. The blue wire will be your lock wire and the green wire will be your unlock wire since the wires in the car are + trigger. The 451m isnt neccissary for this setup so you can just steal that connection off of it. Hope this helps/makes sense.

yeah i don't know if your unit has flip flop door lock outputs ...meaning it does both postitve and negative outputs... If it does then cerwinvega4 is right just use the small gauge ribbon cable wires to operate the doorlocks. If not...and your unit only has negative doorlock outputs coming from the 3 pin plug then wire it up like I said. Purple with fuse to constant power WHITE/ black and BROWN / black NOT USED Blue black to blue wire at BCM and GREEN/ black to white wire at bcm. Thats it. -------------

Thats what I was thinking of doing but the clifford only has pos unlock out and neg lock out so I would have to wire a relay for the lock portion correct. But what is the purpose of providing the 451M module?
