i installed a basic alarm on my 99 expedition with factory keyless entry. my problem is that when i lock or unlock the doors they do it like three times. its like if you hold the unlock and lock switch on the car. it's seem like the pulse is to long but the alarm is on the lowest setting alreay. whats wrong is their a way to fix this. i connected the wires to the door locks at the keyless entry module.(the pink ones) also i am having the same problem about the door trigger like everyone esle. if i use the orange and lt. green wire at the dome switch would this solve it i read this on one of the topics. like i said i have a basic alarm no lcd screen or remote start. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How did you connect to the wires ? Did you use sodler and tape or did you use connectors ? Make sure that you have a solid connection and also make sure that you have the connector on the alarm CPU pushed in all the way as well otherwise you get this problem. What is the problem your having with the door trigger ? Are you getting false alarms ? If so you need to relay & diode isolate the trigger's from each other to fix this problem. ------------- Jeff

Doesn't your Crimestopper have Double Pulse Door Lock Programming? Make sure that it is set to single. Double check your Lock/ Unlock wiring and put a meter on it to check for pulsing. Also check your Ground wire. You may have to put Relays on for a Stronger Ground Pulse. Power Lock | PINK / YELLOW | PASSENGER KICK | Power Unlock | PINK/L GREEN | PANEL (- ) PULSE |
Dome Light | BLACK/ L BLUE (+) | 16 PIN CONN. IN PASS. KICK PANEL |

i would suggest leaving the dbl pulde unlock on, unless you used the bcm wake up wire. you used connectors? for door trigger, maybe you should try the light blue white at the keyless module, it is a negative trigger. as far as your issue with the locks, are you sure that you plugged the grey connector all the way into the module? what do the locks do when you press the switch on the door?

The keyless module should be high on the drivers side firewall, closer to the side of the vehicle. Look for a white module with two grey molex's

Hey can someone tell me what they think the BCM wake up wire is, oh and on fords its not a BCM, in this case its called a FEM (front eletronic Module). I think that just the pule from the alarm to the fem will wake it up, much like the pulse from you unlock button in the car wakes it up.

i hook in to the door lock wires at the keyless entry module is that a problem? everything is connected right and good. if i put it at double pulse it even does it more. its like if the pusle is to long and its the lowest setting on the alarm it is .7 sec. if you have a expedition or could get access to one push the lock switch on the door and hold it and that is what my car is doing it locks and unlock but after it tugs on the lock a few more times. is there a way it make a pulse shorter?

Hey what wires are you useing for your locks, Because if you use the Pk/Ye, (at switch or probally in the kick panel) for unlock, and the PK/LG (at switch or in kickpanel) for the lock and wire it like five wire it should work just fine.

does the locks pulse when u lock the doors from the switch? If so then you have a problem with the module.. Disconnect the alarm wires then try this and use a dmm the check the wire u are using at module in dkp..
