Has anyone ever installed a compustar remote start and alarm before on a 2000 honda civic. I have most the wires figured out, but I don't know what to do with the - door trigger, - dome supervision, factory alarm arm, factory alarm disarm, power losk, power unlock, second ignition, and second accessory. I own the compustar cm3000, so any help for my project would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dutton

Thanks for the help! I finished wireing and soldering all the wires of my compustar CM3000 alarm/rs and I have not been able to get any response from it. I connected the Status Out wire to the to the BLACK/ blue wire above the clutch pedal, is this correct? After I start the car and let it idle down I get no response from the siren or the lights? What could that be? I tried to program the remote and I did here the relays, but it still doesn't respond. I don't have the second ignition 200mA output (-), should I hook it up using a relay? ANy help would be much appreciated! Thanks Again, Dutton

Did the remote control program properly ? Make sure that you remove the tape from the battery in the back as well. When you toggle the ignition 5 times you have to do it REALLY FAST ( like 5 times in less than 3 seconds would be ideal ). Once you do this, press button # 1 on the 2 way remote and also press the LOCK button on the one way remote. You must also have the hood down when trying the remote start & close the doors when trying the arm/disarm.

I finally found out what to do without any help from other users! The compustar manual says to progema the remote by turning the car on and off 5 times, this is wrong turn the car from acc to on 5 time and it will work perfect. Thanks for the non-help all you professionals! Now I am a perfect user of the civic so anyone that has questions about installs for anything relating to 96-2000 civic let me know!
