you might want to switch the bypass on ahead of time b4 even RS the unit to learn it. some alarm unit will trigger in a delay.

the status input wire, that receive ground when RS. what you can do w/ that is to get another wire and jump from the status input to ground ahead of time b4 even RS to learn the key. that will activate the 555h and learn the key.

here's the best way to program the 555h.

insert key in ignition.

ground blue wire.

turn ignition key on.

when LED on 555h turns off module is programmed.

if LED does not turn off try another one of the customers keys.

I've gone through both keys only to find the valet is the only one that will program.

Hate those modules.

Hey Extreme, I have try want you show me. I put the key in, they the blue wire and turn key to the on position the led did goes off, i don't know if it is program or not. But after that i hook the blue wire to the starter wire on the alarm system, and try to start without the key in the ignition it is still not working. It keeps asking for the key. Are you always run into problems like this.
