Can anyone tell me where to find the tach wire for a 2004 Honda Pilot.  Every wire diagram I have says it is a blue wire in a 2 pin connector on the driver side fender.   I have searched and searched I can not find it.  Can someone give me allot of detail to get me to that wire; tell me what it is near, what color the connector is and anything and everything you can tell me to get me to it.  Much appreciated.

its a two pin connector but only one wire. the connector is cover w/ black rubber and the wire is covered also in black loom. its kinda hard to find it sometime. might want to find it tape to another pack split loom wires.

Something else to add is that the connector only has the BLUE wire in it. There is no other wire other than the BLUE tach wire. It will be taped up along the loom of wires beside the driver's firewall or along the driver's side shock tower.

The easiest place to grab that wire is in the drivers kick. You don't even have to pull of the kick panel it's right there in a green plug. ------------- John J. DiStefano Jr.

Thanks for all the info, even though I did not use the tach wire in the test connector located on the front drivers fender I had to find that little $#@!.  It was under the air filter housing and it was not even blue, I am made at Honda for that, but I would not have found it with out you guys help.  I did use the wire in the kick panel it was very easy to find and it was blue.  Thanks for the help.
