Hi I have a 91 GMC Safari and the Impulse keyless entry/remote start system works great except when I try to unlock with the remote. The relay doesn't kick in at all and I have checked it to ensure it works.    The unit puts out a negative pulse. I have positive doorlocks.  I built a relay pack with 87s and 85s Constant 12V, 86s are the alarm outputs for lock/unlock and 30s are going to the respective vehicle wire (lock/unlock).  Is this correct? Any suggestions?  Perhaps the unlock output on the alarm is bad? Thanks, Kayo_420

use a volt meter test the relay pack for voltage then see if the relays will click by grounding 86 on relays if the do work then the keyless entry might be bad

Is it only the UNLOCK that doesn't work ? If so, then check to see that the unlock relay is not stuck. Disconnect from the harness and switch the relays over or use a different relay.
