my dad left me his truck today, it is a 92 chevy truck with a executive keyless entry, what the problem is the truck will lock itself with the key on, my dad has locked himself out to many times.

is the a wire to cut or add to make it stop this.

Do you have a manual for the unit....if not, get one.

If you do, read on how to program OUT ignition controlled door locking....

If you cut any wires, the keyless won't work at all, so just be ready to replace it if you can't find a manual.........or try to be more careful, and not lock your self out. I've been there it sucks
