Having a hell of a time

have it connected, Programs, But when i remote start led lights for a 1/4 of a second and shuts off, and the theft light starts blinking.

if i remote start with key in Ign led stays lit.

bypasskit shows me a 1.

you need a 2 key valid to program whit pkf1

intresting,

define 2 key valid.  on first key when light goes off do second key then do the pkf?

Also when i was metering wires the  ground out wire i disconnected and it shows a ground when its not connected, It makes me think its bad???

Sorry about that pkf-3 the Excursion should be a pkf1 w/ 2 valid keys... thought it said Expidition....

To check your RS wireing just insert the key in the IGN and remote start it... If it goes then your wired right... if it don't then double check your wireing....

actully the pkf3 says it will work in a 04 excursion on that paper.

im gonna try 1 out tomm and see.

my rs wiring is fine its the bypass that isnt working.

Cool... I didn't have bypasses sheet here but that is more than likley the prob.... some of the super duty truck use them and some don't... Hope it work for ya!

i hope so to, i hate those little issues.

its always something about the last car of the day.

when i spoke to them today they said the only 1 that would work was the  -1  now i see the 3 working.

im perplexed at the issue of the led coming on for the 1/4 of a second, then shuting off, ill see tomm.

I don't remember off hand for this particular module but you need to insert both keys (do their first 2 steps) then ground the brown wire and jump the +12 with the IGN The LED should blink onece and stay solid for three seconds... (something to that effect) if your timing is OFF then you have to start over.... just read and follow all the directions...
