Hi, I installed a Autostart (AS-1725 SH) remote start in my 91 blazer about 3 months ago, and everything worked perfect, then all of a sudden today when I pressed the remote start start button the parking lights came on and everything but it wouldn't crank to start.  I can start my blazer with my key and everything else is working fine on the remote start.  What is going on I can't remote start my blazer anymore.  HELP

This also happened to one of my custonmer's with the Autostart. I just relearned the remote control and everything was working again for her.

Okay well I found out that it was a blown fuse from the red power wire, changed the fuse and now it's working fine.  My question is WHY did the fuse blow?

it might not be getting enough current from the wire you are tapped to. either that or check to see if there are any kinks or cuts in wires that may be able to ground out.

you're starter is old. (vehicles starter motor) this a very common occurance with GM trucks.

I usually install a 30amp self reseting breaker ( they plug in place of an ATC fuse)
