my remote stop working, it was still working this morning, and then when I came out this afternoon, it stop working. I press all 4 button but the car doesn't do anything. I did a search, and someone mention to open the remote up, check for the unsoldered, but I have also check, couldn't found it, maybe I am not looking at the right place?, can someone help please? I have already open up the remote so I can't send it back to DEI

the 790xv had that program, one of the soldered harness fell off the board.
so ur remote doesnt turn on or the alarm doesnt respond?

the remote turn on, but the alarm doesn't respond, I have an extra compustar remote, will that work with viper?

If none of the functions work, you prob need a new remote. DO a search on viper responder and a bunch of stuff will come up, ebay, various web sites etc... You prob already tried it but, here goes, new battery needed? Good Luck, ------------- Jeff
