This is my first alarm install and i'm pretty much done except for the fact that i can not locate the door trigger wire and the door unlock/lock wires. I have a wiring diagram that helped with everything else but i just can't seem to find these couple wires. Maybe i'm just retarded but if anyone knows the exact location it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

is there anywhere inside of the vehicle where there would be a tach signal.... i have heard that there is a wire somewhere by the drivers kick panel that sends a tach signal

If you check the wiring harness going to the instrument panel, there will be several white wires.  One comes from the coil and drives the tach on the instrument panel.  Check with DMM and you will find the right one that shows AC and changes with RPM.

That is where I got it on my 97 Blazer.

Good Luck
