Disarm defeat is use with remoteless alarm module.

Those unit read the door lock state of the car.

when you lock with the oem remote of the car the alarm is armed.

when you press unlock once on oem remote the driver's door unlock and the alarm  disarm

when you press unlock in the car the alarm must not disarm there is why you must conect disarm defeat

you connect the arm wire to lock motor, the disarm wire to unlock and disarm defeat on the unlock motor wire of passenger door.

This is applicable only for remoteless alarm's

NOT FOR USE TO INTERFACE DOOR LOCK!!! BE AWARE!

hope this help.
