hey,
I have a 98 Cavalier and I've used the DEI Bypass module to bypass the Passlock. With the first module it wouldn't work at all. so I replaced it with a second module, learned the resistance code and it worked for a couple times and stopped. I read in another post that if you start the car with the key and cut the yellow wire then shut it off and remote start it you can tell if it's the module if the light (anti theft) comes on and stays on. I don't know whether to try a different module(code alarm or otherwise) but I had an installer from circuit city look at the hookups and he said they were fine. He's been doin this stuff for four years so I trust he knows how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
