alarm problem

Subject: alarm problem

im tring to install an alarm and im pretty much done the only thing is that my remotes dont work the alarm goes off like it should but when i press da buttons it dont do nuthin. There are 2 wires left a blue n green, for door lock but my car doesnt have power door lock so how would connect that. could dat be the problem?

If your car does not have power locks, don't use those wires. Chances are that the remotes must be programmed to the brain for them to work or you may not have the antenna plugged in. (and a small side not here, some alarms have a small black wire connected to the brain, this is an antenna and not a ground wire, if you grounded this wire, undo it.)

thanks but i didnt ground it n the way it says to program the system doesnt work

thanks but i didnt ground it the way the book says to program the system doesnt work, cuz it say to put in valet mode i dont know wat that is because the cut off button doesnt work so the alarm jus keeps goin off , so i have no way of puttin it in valet mode

What brand / model is it?  You shouldnt need the remote to put it in valet mode.

its a option group, i think its cheap i got it for free from a friend
