I need to know a good place to mount a 2 way motion sensor in a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

First, motion and proximity are two different sensors( Just so you know). Second the recommended place for proximity sensors is to be as close to the center of the cab of the vehicle as possible. Motion sensor would be as close to the center of the firewall as possible.
