Hello, I'm having trouble connecting a compustar to a 1997 Dodge Neon. I bought the unit used from ebay, and I guess it didn't come with the installtion manual. All I really have to go by is the diagram on the module itself. Now, as far as I understand with compustar the dome light supervision needs to be connected for it to work. Will this work if I attache it into the door switch or vice versa? Also, I'm confused about the second harnes which has the following wires: light output, status output, ignition output, accessory output, and starter output. My main concern is that the module says that these wires have a negative polarity so I am not sure if I'm supposed to attach them to their corresponding wires which have a positive polarity.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

If you goto compustar.org you can get the user manual that you need. As for the 2nd harness with the ign. acc. and starter output is to drive a relay. It's for if your vehicle has a 2nd ign, 2nd acc or 2nd starter that needs to be wired up.

The site has been updated and there is no longer any links for installation
