I haven't decided what remote start system to get yet but i went ahead and bought a Bulldog T-harness for my car to preserve the factory wiring (and make it easier for me). Has anyone ever received one of these that was wired wrong? Using the wiring diagrams for my car (1994 Honda del Sol), I have identified the +12, ign, Acc and starter wires. These do not match up right with the harness. The harnes has very light guage wire pluggin into heavy guage wire and some tapped heavy guage wire in the harness connects where there is no wire in the plug side. This is not a big deal because i have figured out how to move the wires around in the harness and put it back together. But i wanted to know if anyone else had ever seen this or knows of a reason that i am completely wrong here. i though it would be a good idea to get this harness, but this thing could really screw some people up.

ive used many t-harnness and never had a problem, but i have never used one on a honda yet. but im sure its right, but you may want to call bulldog and make sure.

I don't see how this could possibly work if i hooked it up as it is. I was going to take the yellow wires out of the bulldog harness and move the three brown ones to the right places if noone could point out a reason not too. thanks

are you saying they can't even get their wiring harnesses to work??? it's no wonder they cant get their product to work.....

yse, i did read enough to know not to get one of thier RS units, but i read on another forum that the harness actually worked quite well, so i picked one up from buy.com I am just going to reconfigure it and hope that i am right about this.

Test your Honda's wires with a meter to know for sure of what you have. Power in crank position etc.
