I have installed the DEI module to roll the windows up and down in my truck along with the 791xv. Everything seemed to be fine untill the other day. The temperature here in connecticut has been in the single digits for a couple of weeks now and I think that this may be the problem. First thing in the morning when the truck is still cold, The drivers side window only rolls down just fine but when you go to roll the window up it goes aproximatly 1 inch at a time, meanig that I have to hit the up switch about 20 times to get the window up completly from its bottomed out state. Once the truck is warmed up there are no issues. I find this problem a little strange and was wondering if anyone else has ever came across this same similar issue or if the module is just defective.

thanks!!

I had the same problem in my wifes expedition. What I found was if the module is getting low voltage the unit would act just like yours is. You can try to set the dip switches to a higher resitance and see if that helps. If not try another module and check the voltage when the problem is occuring.

It could be normal. With everything being cold the rubber could be causing resistance in the window track. This would cause the module to think that the window was all the way up and stop. You could try messing with the resistance settings on the module, it might help.
