I have a Prestige Platinum Model APS786T Alarm remote starter that Iam tring

to install.Have all working except tach pick up. Have tried Pin 8,conn.2 @pcm White wire

Have not had any luck, Also check a PURPLE / white wire as well.

any help would greatly appreciate Thanks

When you "checked" them, how did you have your DMM set ? Make sure that your in AC mode and that you have the target wire on the BLACK lead and 12 volts constant on the RED lead. As you press the accelorator, the voltage rises with the RPM's.
