when you learn the passlock system the ignition key that you use makes the difference, if the husbands key is used to re-learn the passlock after a remote start is installed the ignition system recognises the key code as the husbands and sets the seats in accordance. and vice versa for the wife's keys, the only way i found to prevent the seat from moving when remote started is to blank the seat memory with one key, because realistically, what's worse going into your truck and having to move the seat forward or reverse? it's a catch 22, there is no module avail. but you can shut the seat feature right off so it's not an issue at all and then the driver only needs to press #1 or #2 on the door panel to operate the stored position of the seat.

so theres no way to make it so the customer can remote start the vehicle, turn their key in the ignition and drivers seat memory 1 will automatically resume? they have to manually push the mem seat button everytime they enter the vehicle after it has been remote started from now on?

heres the set up right now. im using a gmdl-bp interface module from bypasskit. if i remote start the vehicle and then insert the key and turn forward, the memory function will not work. i have to manually push the seat preset buttons. and of course.... the customer is not happy with the way this is working. he wants to enter the vehicle when it is remote started and have his seat presets work like they did when he inserted his key.
