I am looking to get one of these today! I can't decide between the Crimestopper RS900VII and the Galaxy 2000RS.

The Galaxy has a lot more options but is cheaper for some reason (maybe junk). Anyone have any comments, warnings or advice one either of these units.

i am also looking at the Crimestopper RS999TW-1, but i will buy a unit today. any input will be appreciated. thanks.

I am NOT a crimestopper fan........

I have seen to many product failures (personally)

I know nothing about the other product.....so I gues you could say I'm biased

So crimestopper is no good? i am so lost.

the other unit is made by Scytek, and they have an optional cable to connect the unit to a laptop or pocketPC and use thier software to realy customize the unit. But, the Scytek unit is less expensive than the Crimestopper unit. so if the CS is junk then the other must be too. argh

I used to sell that exact galaxy and they are the biggest piece of sh*t I ever used. They were nothing but problems and we needed to pull out and replace almost every single one with a different brand because they crapped out so often it was becoming a nusience. Id stay away.
