Just installed a remote start on friends truck every thing works but the lock and unlock buttons.  Didn't use relays or anything just straight to the pink/purple and ORANGE / purple and a hot coming froms the switches.  Let me know what i need to do different to get it working thanks.

Power Lock ORANGE / VIOLET CONNECTOR ON UPPER LEFT SIDE OF JUNC-

Take the fused +12v line direct to the main +12 volt for the RS unit. Do not use the farty little red wire coming from the lock / unlock molex from the brain.
