Alarm-Viper 791XV
Problem-Currently using the domelight as door trigger, domelight illuminates for 25 seconds after ignition is turned-off, door opened, etc. Need to use the door triggers themselves so the vehicles not vunerable for that time period. But I am not sure which wires, where they're located, or neccessary diodes.

when you lock the doors, the domelight should turn off.

I wish. With the factory keyless entry the domelight would turn-off when the doors were locked with the key FOB. With the Viper thay do not.

I'm going to have to go find-out. The alarm was installed by someone else. What wire should have been used?

Okay, I found out that the Viper's door trigger input is connected to a BLACK/ lt.blue wire in the passenger kick panel. This wire shows 12+ volts until the dome light goes-off.
