Hey guys

a friend of mine has a 650xv and i went to disconnect the battery to put the 12v wire for his amps in and when i put the connection back the alarm started going off..   so i disarm it from the keyfob but it does nothing so i dug around for the brain and pulled the main harness out..   whenever it gets plugged back in the alarm goes off.. i figured by unplugging it i might have lost the programming to the remotes so i tried putting the car into valet mode after i set off the alarm by puting the key to run and pressing the valet swtich once..   nothing alarm keeps going off..   how long does the car take to respond after you put it into valet mode so i can check everything? i dont have a bitwriter so i cant even get in it that way.

you cant get into valet mode with a Bitwriter anyway.... sometimes you have to press and hold the valet switch more than once to shut off the alarm.....
